DESCRIPTION:Beach Clean Up with Blue Ocean Society for Marine Conservation \nThis Thursday June 29th\, we are hosting a beach clean up starting at 10 AM. \nThis is a great opportunity to help keep our shoreline clean\, educate our younger members on the impacts of marine debris to our ecosystem as well as instill global stewardship. \nBlue Ocean Society will lead the clean up and provide supplies\, we suggest you bring your own work gloves but if you do not have any we will have some disposable gloves. Also\, please have someone from your family download the Marine Debris Tracker app from the app store so we can submit the debris types to their database. \nA packet of detailed information from Blue Ocean Society in regards to the clean up process and data collection is available at the front desk for viewing. \nHope to see a good turnout on the beach Sunday morning!
